Glenda MacQueen Award

The annual Glenda M. MacQueen Memorial Career Development Award for Women in Psychiatry was created to honour the remarkable accomplishments of the late Glenda MacQueen, through the creation of a career development award to support the early-stage development of women who will lead the future of academic psychiatry.

As a legacy to Glenda’s contributions to research, training, clinical service, administrative service and mentorship, the CIHR Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction (CIHR-INMHA), in collaboration with the Canadian Psychiatric Association (CPA), seeks to provide financial resources to enhance the potential success of future women leaders who can rise to some of these critical elements of academic achievement in mental health.
